The two met at Istanbul’s Dolmabahçe Palace, an Ottoman-era building designed by the Armenian Balyan family of architects.
Pashinyan toured the church, lit candles, and got acquainted with the conditions of Armenian community life in the area.
Pashinyan, according to his office, will meet with representatives of the local Armenian community prior to his meeting later this evening with Erdoğan.
