Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Berris Ekinci greeted Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan who arrived at Istanbul International Airport this morning for talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Pashinyan, according to his office, will meet with representatives of the local Armenian community prior to his meeting later this evening with Erdoğan.

Armenia hopes the talks will facilitate the normalization of ties between Yerevan and Ankara and reopen their shared land border after decades of enmity.
