
Pashinyan Visits Holy Mother of God Armenian Apostolic Patriarchal Church in Istanbul
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, now in Turkey on a working visit, toured the Holy Mother of God Armenian Apostolic Patriarchal Church in the Kumkapı neighborhood of Istanbul.
Pashinyan, according to his office, was accompanied by the Chairman of the Church Council Hrant Maskafian, the Second Chairman Minas Arslan, as well as the Director of the Armenian School attached to the church, Claudia Demir.
Pashinyan toured the church, lit candles, and got acquainted with the conditions of Armenian community life in the area.
Pashinyan laid flowers at the Gomidas monument in the church yard.
He is scheduled to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan this evening.
