Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres met today in New York and discussed the recent fighting along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and Azerbaijani attacks against Armenia proper.
Going further, the ministry advises travelling to “the rest of the country unless there is an imperative reason.”
Avinyan is a founding member of the Civil Contract party that was part of the My Step (Im Kayl) alliance that dissolved in May 2021.
It appears that the Armenian Defense Ministry either does not know, or will not reveal, exactly how much of Armenia’s territory is now under Azerbaijani military control.

Pashinyan, according to his office, referred to the recent Azerbaijani attacks against Armenia and stressed that the international community must clearly condemn Azerbaijani aggression and demand the removal of Azerbaijani troops from Armenia.
