The policemen of Arabkir Division Investigation Department of the RA Police were sentenced by the Court of First Instance of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun administrative districts for abusing and exceeding their official authority.

According to the evidence of the criminal case, H. Simonyan worked as a senior policeman in the Arabkir Division Investigation Department of the RA Police and D. Atoyan was a policeman in the same department whose supervisor was H. Simonyan.

The Court considered justified the accusation brought by the prosecutors as to which D. Atoyan prepared materials based on H. Vardanyan’s statement about an incident that had taken place in the “Pioneer” night club on November 25, 2008 at night.
