In the scope of their regional visit, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmen, accompanied by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, will visit the Nagorno Karabakh Republic on May 17 to meet with the country's leadership.

They also plan to visit a number of settlements in Artsakh and to meet with the local authorities and people.

On May 19 the Co-Chairmen will participate in the planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of NKR and Azerbaijan to be held in the Martakert-Tartar road section by the OSCE mission. 

During the monitoring, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmen and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office will cross the Line of Contact from the NKR side to Azerbaijan’s territory.

The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the monitoring participants.
