The trial of “Haykakan Zhamanak” Editor Nikol Pashinyan continued today at the Shengavit General District Court.
Mr. Pashinyan has begun to offer his side of the story that led to his arrest on a number of charges dealing with the events of March 1, 2008 and the pre-election campaign of Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
Commenting on the charges stemming from an alleged incident that took place on October 23, 2007, when Pashinyan is said to have kicked a police officer, the defendant stated that the first time he saw the officer in question was in court.
The trial has presently recessed. Mr. Pashinyan will continue testifying once the trial resumes
