The Yerevan Municipality has announced that the streets surrounding the Cascade Complex in Yerevan will be closed to vehicular traffic from 11am to midnight on a daily basis.

Those sections of Isahakyan and Toumanyan Streets bordering the Cascade area will be closed to traffic to cut down on noise and air pollution and increase pedestrian safety.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan has called for other municipal districts to identify areas in their jurisdictions that might be transformed into vehicle-free zones.
