Hetq reporter Yeranouhie Soghoyan won first prize in a journalism competition in the topic of illegal migration from Armenia.

Soghoyan’s piece “Gohar Fears for Her Two Sons Kept as Indentured Servants in Russia's Far East” received the highest marks from the fifty articles submitted.

The competition was jointly organized by the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration’s State Migration Service and the International Centre for Human development, with financial assistance from the Belgium Ministry of Internal Affairs.
