RA President Serzh Sargsyan hosted representatives of a organization calling itself the National Congress of Western Armenians at the Presidential Palace today in Yerevan.

President Sargsyan told Congress Co-Presidents Norat Ter-Grigoryants and Karen Milayelyan that it was important to keep the lines of communication and cooperation open amongst all segments of the Armenian people.

In turn, the two representatives of the Congress told Sargsyan about the organization’s program and aims.

The Congress is registered in France and is recognized as one of the 3,500 NGOs in consultative status with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
