Hetq Media Factory Project Manager Wins Yerevan Press Club Award

Hetq Media Factory Project Manager Harutyun Mansuryan has won the Yerevan’s Press Club’s (YPC) Ethical Journalism Award (EJA) for supporting the development of rookie journalists and contributing to the discovery of their professional potential.

The awards ceremony, on July 18 at the Ibis Yerevan Kentron hotel, marked the 31st anniversary of the founding of the Yerevan Press Club (YPC).

Suren Deheryan, founding editor of Ampop Media, won the Ethical Journalism Award for ensuring professional standards.

Gayane Khachatryan, a journalist at Factor TV, won the EJA for comprehensive and high-quality coverage of the country’s socio-political life.

Hayk Navasardyan, a commentator at Armenia TV, won the EJA for balanced coverage of the 2026 parliamentary election.

YPC President Artur Papyan delivered the opening speech at the awards ceremony.

On hand at the awards ceremony were the Head of the Cooperation Department of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Frank Hess; the Executive Director of the Center for Media Initiatives, Nune Sargsyan; and   Honorary President of the Yerevan Press Club, President of the Media Ethics Monitoring Body, Boris Navasardyan.

The Ethical Journalism Awards are part of the Media Quality and Resilience Initiative program.

The aim of the Ethical Journalism Award is to encourage the further development of ethical journalism in the Armenian media, the consistent adherence to the general rules of professional ethics, and the provisions of the Code of Ethical Principles of Journalists and Media of Armenia.
