Armenia Wine Hosts Concours Mondial de Bruxelles Guests

Paid content

The 33rd Concours Mondial de Bruxelles international competition, the most prestigious platform for alcoholic beverages and wine in the world, was recently held in Armenia. It became one of the most memorable and important points in the history of Armenian winemaking, bringing the most famous and influential figures of the global wine market to Armenia.

One of the largest-scale wine competitions was hosted for the first time in one of the ancient cradles of winemaking, and Armenian winemaking, which has a history of thousands of years, once again appeared in the spotlight of the world, proving that Armenia not only has a rich winemaking heritage, but is also confidently shaping its place on the world wine map today.

As the largest winemaking complex in the region, Armenia Wine was at the center of this important event. The company organized a special reception for more than 450 guests, who had the opportunity to discover the full charm of Armenian culture through national songs and dances, traditional Armenian cuisine and the unique aromas of Armenian wine.

Kristine Vardanyan, Commercial Director of Armenia Wine Company, noted: "As a symbol of modern Armenian winemaking, it is a great honor for Armenia Wine to host all the guests of the prestigious Mondial International Competition, jury members, and experts in the field at our factory. Today, hundreds of famous sommeliers, producers, and winemakers are at the Armenia Wine winery complex. And this is a great responsibility for us, because we have the opportunity to present not only Armenia Wine as a producer, but also many layers of national culture, the 6000-year history of the winery, and we do this with great pride and love."

The guests of Mondial de Brussels were particularly impressed by the tour of the Wine History Museum of Armenia, where they learned about the thousand-year journey of Armenian wine, from ancient times to the revival of Armenian winemaking.

The members of the Mondial de Bruxelles jury described it as truly remarkable, praising the extensive effort to gather ancient evidence about wine and present it in such a modern and engaging way.
