Pashinyan Attends Gaza Peace Summit in Egypt
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, who attended the Middle East Peace Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, had a photo-op with the U.S. leader.
Trump and the leaders of Egypt, Qatar and Turkey signed a declaration for bringing peace to Gaza.
"A new and beautiful day is rising and now the rebuilding begins," said Trump, praising regional leaders who helped cement the truce between Israel and Hamas.
A statement released by Pashinyan’s office doesn’t specify what role, if any, Pashinyan played at the summit.
