Fewer Stcking Points to Peace Deal with Armenia, Says Azerbaijani FM
Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov, at a press conference yesterday in Baku with his Hungarian counterpart Péter Szijjártó, said the number of sticking points holding up a peace deal with Armenia has decreased.
“A few days ago, we received another proposal from Armenia regarding the peace treaty. I want to note that open questions have decreased. Positive progress is being made," Bayramov said, according to the APA agency.
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, earlier this week, said Yerevan and Baku have agreed on the key principles of the peace deal and that it could be signed soon.
