
Blinken, Çavuşoğlu Discuss Karabakh at UN Meeting
U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken met with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in New York City yesterday on the margins of the UN General Assembly to discuss multiple areas of U.S.-Turkish cooperation.
According to U.S. Department of State, Blinken and Çavuşoğlu spoke for one hour about the situation in Afghanistan, Syria, and the Caucasus – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh.
Spokesperson Ned Price said Turkey is an important NATO Ally.
