Azerbaijani serviceman Jamil Babayev, found in an apartment in the Artsakh city of Martakert on August 25, has been charged with Article 350, Part 1, Article 316 (espionage), Article 145 of the Criminal Code of the Artsakh Republic. Article 1 (violation of the immunity of the apartment), Article 135 (1) (threat of murder, grievous bodily harm or destruction of property) and Article 133, Part 2 (unlawful deprivation of liberty).

Detention was chosen as a precautionary measure against him. An investigation is underway.
