
Russian, Azerbaijani FMs Discuss Implementation of Trilateral Karabakh Statements
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov discussed, by telephone today, the implementation of statements made by the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia on November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021. This is stated in a statement issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"There was a substantive exchange of views on various aspects of the implementation of the statements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Armenia on November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021, as well as ways to resolve the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The need for a speedy resumption of the trilateral working group chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia to unblock economic and transport ties in the region was underlined," reads a Russian Foreign Ministry statement.
Lavrov and Bayramov also discussed bilateral relations and the regional and international agendas of the two countries.
