
Armenian Police Uncover Government State Assistance Bribery Scheme
According to an Armenian Department of Police report issued today, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs officials, in collaboration with various regional and municipal administrators, received AMD 34.777 million ($72,400) in bribes from 175 individuals applying for state assistance eligibility.
The report says that 87 officials have been charged with various bribery violations.
