
Putin Ratifies Agreement to Set-Up Joint Military Force with Armenia
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a bill ratifying a prior agreement reached by Armenia and Russia to set-up a joint military force.
The agreement was signed by the defense ministers of the two countries in November 2016.
The two sides are to create a joint command, whose leader will be appointed by the Supreme Commander of the Armenian Armed Forces in agreement with the Supreme Commander of the Russian Armed Forces.
