
Humanitarian Aid to Armenia Drops Slightly
Some 7.3 billion AMD ($15 million) worth of humanitarian aid was sent to Armenia in the first four months of 2017, a drop of 0.7% from the same period in 2016.
Most of the aid (71.5%) was chemicals and related manufactured goods. This was followed by textile items (10.6%), various equipment (7.8%), and manufactured goods (7.4%).
23.6% of the aid came from EU countries, up 80% from the same period in 2016.
