Samvel Nikoyan - RA National Assembly's New President

Armenia’s National Assembly today elected Samvel Nikoyan as its new president.

Nikoyan received 102 votes. His closet rival, Heritage Party MP Larisa Alaverdyan, received 4.

Nikoyan, a member of the ruling Republican Party, had been the legislature’s vice-president.
