At today’s anti-pension system rally in Yerevan, HAK (Armenian National Congress) parliamentary faction leader Levon Zurabyan blasted the program as yet another ruse concocted by the authorities to plunder the people.

“During the tenure of Serzh and Tigran Sargyan, $5 billion in state capital USD has illegally left Armenia. Now, they want us to entrust our money with a government that’s stockpiling cash in the Virgin Islands and Cyprus,” said Zurabyan addressing the demonstrators.

When he asked if the people would allow such a thing, the response from the crowd was a resounding “no”.
