ARF Faction Will Not Attend Special Session Marking Sargsyan's Inauguration
The ARF’s parliamentary faction has declared that it will not attend tomorrow’s special parliamentary session marking the inauguration of Serzh Sargsyan as president.
In a statement issued today, the ARF parliamentary faction accuses the ruling regime of remaining indifferent to the public demand of implementing system-wide and fundamental changes to tackling the numerous problems facing Armenia.
The ARF states that it is convinced that the way out of the impasse is its proposal for a joint government-opposition agenda of fundamental change.
The party adds that if the ruling regime exhibits the political will to implement such changes and takes definite steps in that direction, it, in turn, will modify its attitude accordingly.
