Latvian President, Armenian FM Discuss Expanding Economic Ties
Latvian President Edgars Rinkėvičs and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met in Riga today and discussed expanding trade and economic cooperation between their two countries.
Mirzoyan, according to his office, emphasized that Armenia highly appreciates the continuous support of the EU member states, including Latvia, in promoting Armenia’s European integration agenda.
They also exchanged views on regional developments.
Mirzoyan told the Latvian president that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan has created new opportunities for economic growth and interdependence, including progress toward implementing the TRIPs project.
