Beyond the Red Line: Yerevan's Invisible Air Threat
Yerevan’s air is far from clean. Sometimes, we don’t just feel the pollution; we can actually see it. We lack a monitoring system that can give us a clear picture of what we are breathing. Nor is there a clear mechanism defining which state agency should take action, and what that action should be, when air pollution reaches levels that threaten public health.
The only good news is that, for now, there is still air to breathe, and we are still breathing it.
