The Cost of a Diploma in Armenia: A Thesis in Three Days

– Hi, I need a thesis.

– Sure, what's the topic?

This conversation isn't fictional, nor is it an exception. Every year, hundreds of term papers and theses are written on every topic imaginable.

To understand how this market operates in Armenia and why no one regulates it, Hetq ordered its own thesis.

Universities, professors, and ministry officials are aware of this market.

– So, what are we supposed to do? asks one concerned lecturer.

In this episode of "So What," we’ve tried to find the answer.

TRUTH ARMENIA
UGGGHHHH. PLEASE don't bastardize the Armenian language more than it already is with <<դիպլոմա>>. The Armenian word is <<վկայական>>. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE reading and seeing words like that. Why doesn't the Armenian government clean up the Armenian language and wipe away garbage words like that? <<Րեստորան>>, <<ինստիտուդ>>....I can go on! Utterly disgusting and shameful. The Armenian language needs a complete colon cleanse and washout of dirty cheat words like these and replaced with proper Armenian words. HETQ of all institutions should begin this charge of using proper Armenian words and language. Going back to the article, a nation who has ZERO RESOURCES and whose only resource is its human mind should NOT be engaging in acts like the one written about. On the contrary, Armenian education should be the highest throughout the region and the world. Didn't Soviet statistics used to say Armenia had a 91% literacy rate? I'm certain there was mass cheating and plagiarising going on then too, but at least USSR's shield and communism ensured Armenia was protected and Armenians could survive. With Armenia being independent and surrounded by savage nations, it's only salvation and hope is (first) in JESUS CHRIST, and second, it's human mind and potential.
