Following the Christian and Muslim spiritual leaders’ summit on June 2, 2026, a delegation was appointed to deliver the summit’s unanimously adopted statement to Lebanon’s top officials.

With the blessing of Catholicos Aram I, V. Rev. Fr. Sarkis Aprahamian represented the Armenian Church, the Great House of Cilicia.

The delegation today met with President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri. During these meetings, they communicated the summit’s key principles, concerns, and recommendations.

The leaders expressed unanimous solidarity, emphasizing that the statement embodies Lebanon’s national unity and underscores the critical need to safeguard internal peace and integrity amid the nation’s current challenges.
