Former Head of Armenia’s State Property Management Department Gets Two Month Detention

The former head of Armenia’s State Property Management Department, Arman Sahakyan, has been detained for two months.

Sahakyan was arrested in April of this year as part of a criminal investigation into allegations of giving and receiving election bribes.

Sahakyan headed the department from 2011 until his resignation in 2018.

Arman Sahakyan is the son of former Armenian parliament president Galust Sahakyan.
