Yerevan marked May Day, globally celebrated as International Workers' Day, in a series of festive events seemingly sponsored by a host of companies including Yandex (which has a significant presence in Armenia, primarily through its Yandex Go app, which offers taxi rides, cargo, and courier delivery services in fifteen cities), FastBank, the Armenia Wine Company, and leading egg producer Arzni Poultry Farm.

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, brandishing a baseball cap bearing the inscription “peace”, attended the festivities in Yerevan’s Republic Square.

One would be hard-pressed to identify anything related to workers’ rights or the domestic labor movement at today's celebration.
