Armenia's Radioactive Legacy: The Invisible Danger

Author՝ Zhanna Bekiryan

Radioactive materials can heal, but they can also kill. Even after they are no longer in use and become waste, they continue to emit radiation. They neither disappear nor can be destroyed; they are simply stored and passed down as a legacy to future generations.

In Armenia, we have radioactive waste and continue to accumulate it, but don't know what to do with it.
