Armenian Deputy PM Mher Grigoryan and Khalil Shirgholami, Iran’s new ambassador to Armenia, met today in Yerevan and emphasized the work of the intergovernmental commission operating between the two countries.

The two also discussed recent regional developments.

Grigoryan, according to his office, congratulated Shirgholami on his appointment and wished him success in fulfilling his important mission.
