Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met in Washington D.C. on January 13 to review progress on the Washington Peace Summit agreements of August 2025.

They stressed the need for ongoing efforts to institutionalize peace and discussed advancing the Armenia–U.S. strategic partnership and joint projects.

Both parties confirmed the release of a Joint Statement on the Armenia–U.S. Implementation Framework for the TRIPP project, scheduled for 17:00 Washington time.

Mirzoyan will address the main points and answer questions at a press conference in Yerevan on January 14.
