Parliamentary delegations from Armenia and Azerbaijan met in Istanbul today and discussed future steps to strengthen peace between the two countries.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 23rd Autumn Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in the Turkish capital.

The meeting was held following the agreement reached between the Speakers of the Parliaments of Armenia and Azerbaijan during the October 21, 2025 discussions in Geneva.

The delegations noted the positive role of the August 2025 meeting in Washington D.C. attended by the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The role of the two parliaments in implementing confidence-building measures between the two countries was stressed.
