Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan and Qatari State Minister Mohammed Al-Khulaifi met in Doha on November 4 on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development and discussed potential economic cooperation if transportation links are reopened in the South Caucasus.

The two, according to Kostanyan’s office, exchanged views on the developments in the Middle East, specifically in Palestine and Syria.

Both sides highly appreciated Qatar's mediation efforts to maintain security in the region.
