In Armavir, tap water is hard; people don't drink it, saying it tastes bad. Instead, they prefer unregulated water delivered by trucks from Talin, paying nearly 50 times more.

The problem is obvious, and the solutions are simple and logical. Yet the state claims “it’s expensive” and shows no urgency to reach into its pocket to address this basic, decades-long need of Armavir residents.
