
Armenia, Iran Sign Education Cooperation MoU
Armenia and Iran have signed a four-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of education for 2025-2029.
Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan and Iranian Minister of Science, Research and Technology Hossein Simai Sarraf signed the document today in Tehran.
The MoU envisages the exchange of information on educational systems, the establishment of direct ties between higher education institutions, encouraging mutual visits of professors and teaching staff, and the exchange of educational programs.
Andreasyan, according to her office, also highlighted the prospects for the development of Armenian studies in Iranian higher educational institutions.
