Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met in Beijing today and welcomed this week’s signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the two countries.

Zheng, according to Pashinyan’s office, said that China attaches great importance to the establishment of a strategic partnership with Armenia, and that the Armenian leader's visit to China will facilitate greater cooperation between Yerevan and Beijing.

Pashinyan said the two peoples have great sympathy for each other, which is a solid basis for advancing comprehensive cooperation.
