Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and his wife Anna Hakobyan attended a massive military parade in Beijing today marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un were two of the twenty-six world leaders that witnessed the parade, replete with Chinese stealth jets, tanks and ballistic missiles and thousands of soldiers, that passed through Beijing’s Tiananmen Square.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, watching the parade from the Gate of Heavenly Peace, spoke of China’s victory over “Japanese aggression” during WWII.

An official reception was given on behalf of Xi Jinping and Mrs. Peng Liyuan in honor of the heads of state and their spouses
