It is a potentially good deal for all lease parties. It should be a 100 year lease to the US. If Armenia receives 100 tons of gold per year as rental income from the corridor, this works out to a 40% boost over the current GDP level. USA can in turn charge the Turkic world (Azerbeijan + Turkey + Uzbekistan etc) a premium for the sub-lease… This would help transform Armenia, helping it to develop its roads and infrastructure. USA in turn would hold an influential and profitable position in the region. Azerbeijan would get a lucrative oil route to Europe.
