Armenia Pays 4.3 Million Euros for New Embassy in Belgium
The Armenian government has paid 4.3 million euros to purchase a new building to house the country’s embassy in Belgium.
The building, built in 1866-1870, is located next to the European Commission, the European Parliament, several other European institutions and diplomatic missions in the Belgian capital.
“The acquisition of the new building will significantly improve the working environment and conditions of the Armenian diplomatic mission in Brussels, further promoting the effective implementation of Armenia’s foreign policy priorities at the political center of the European Union,” Armenia’s foreign ministry writes.
