Pashinyan Rules Out New War with Azerbaijan
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan, speaking at the Yerevan Dialogue 2025 forum, ruled out any new war with Azerbaijan.
Pashinyan reiterated his commitment to the peace agenda despite continued demands by Baku that Armenia change its constitution and that the OSCE Minsk Group be dissolved before any deal can be signed.
“Lasting and sustainable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not only possible, but within reach,” Pashinyan said.
Pashinyan said his government is ready to continue consultations with Baku to resolve all remaining issues.
“I strongly believe that despite all arguments, all provocations and so on, there will be no war between Armenia and Azerbaijan. There will be peace, and this is unequivocal for me,” Pashinyan added.
