Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today, in Yerevan, met with a delegation led by President of the Cypriot House of Representatives Annita Demetriou.

Pashinyan, according to his office, stressed that Cyprus is a friend of Armenia and that political dialog between the two countries and expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation is important.

Demetriou expressed gratitude for the warm reception, reaffirming Cyprus’ support for Armenia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and democratic reforms.

Views were exchanged on developments related to the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process, and in this context, the importance of establishing peace and maintaining stability in the South Caucasus was emphasized.
