Armenia Seeks Continued Partnership with Russia, Says Mirzoyan
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, in a message sent to his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov to mark the thirty-third anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between their two countries, wrote “it is important to continue our partnership cooperation, based on the interests of our states and for the benefit of our countries and peoples.”
Mirzoyan, according to his office, said Armenia aims to continue and expand a meaningful dialogue that fully meets the interests of the two countries.
Diplomatic relations between Moscow and Yerevan has soured of late, especially given Armenia’s recent initiatives to expand relations with the West.
