Pashinyan to Paris for Artificial Intelligence Summit
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan left for France today and is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Pashinyan, according to his office, will also attend the Artificial Intelligence Summit in Paris where world leaders and technology executives will discuss how to safely embrace artificial intelligence at a time of mounting resistance to red tape that businesses say stifles innovation.
European legislators last year approved the European Union’s AI Act, the world's first comprehensive set of rules governing the technology. Tech titans and some capitals are pushing for it to be enforced leniently.
