
Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Russia Meet in Moscow for Talks
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia, (Ararat Mirzoyan, Sergey Lavrov), met in Moscow today.
Lavrov, according to a statement released by his office, said Russia “has always valued and continues to value fraternal ties with the Armenian people, with Armenia.”
He described Armenia as Russia’s natural strategic partner and ally.
Lavrov said he and Mirzoyan will discuss the entire spectrum of relations between their two countries, adding that Moscow will support the process to normalize relations between Yerevan and Baku.
The Russian foreign minister confessed that relations between Armenia and Russia soured in 2024.
