Yerevan: Anti-Pashinyan Marchers Target Constitutional Court
Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan relaunched his movement to oust Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan from power last spring with a rally and march on Sunday that temporarily closed streets in Yerevan near the Constitutional Court.
Galstanyan accuses the Pashinyan administration of making unilateral concessions to Azerbaijan and opposes the government’s handover of border regions to Azerbaijan.
While thousands joined the spring protests, the movement ultimately fizzled without forcing Pashinyan to resign.
Galstanyan announced that the next rally will be held on October 9 opposite the Prosecutor General’s Office.
