
New York: Pashinyan, Erdoğan Discuss Normalizing Relations
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met yesterday on the sidelines of the 79th U.N. General Assembly session in New York.
The two, according to Pashinyan’s office, noted steps taken to normalize relations between their countries and expressed their readiness to continue the process.
Pashinyan also updated Erdoğan on Yerevan-Baku peace talks.
Erdoğan, according to his office, conveyed his support to "the establishment of lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the establishment of a solid friendship between the two countries in the new period."
He also said that Ankara is ready to support this process.
