
Armenian Defense Minister, Georgian PM Discuss Defense Cooperation
Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met today in Tiflis and discussed joint defense cooperation.
The two officials, according to Papikyan's office, welcomed such cooperation.
In July, Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani visited Yerevan and signed a 2024 defense cooperation plan with his Armenian counterpart Suren Papikyan.
Armenia’s defense ministry, at the time reported the two discussed ongoing reforms in their respective armed forces.
The ministry, in a statement, didn’t specify say what the cooperation plan encompasses.
