Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, now in the U.S. on a working visit, travels to New York today to attend the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) under the auspices of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The theme of the 2024 HLPF is "Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions”.

Mirzoyan, according to his office, will present Armenia’s third Voluntary National Review (VNR) on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, summarizing the progress of the implementation and further targets.

Mirzoyan travelled to the U.S. last week to attend the seventy-fifth NATO Summit. On the sidelines of the summit, he met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
