A park in Yerevan’s Malatia-Sebastia district dedicated to the fortieth anniversary of the Allied victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) has been given a facelift for the first time since its creation in the 1980s.

The Yerevan Municipality reports that new paths were built in the park, benches and trash cans were installed. The park’s lighting and irrigation network has been modernized, and the fountain system has been completely tiled and renovated.

Restoration of the memorial dedicated to the anniversary is also underway.
